What is NZVentures?
NZVentures combines travel on New Zealand’s award winning coach network for independent travellers with carefully selected accommodation with quality private rooms with ensuite facilities and a television.
How does it work?
Choose the tour that best suits your needs then choose a HOT SPOT to maximise your time in NZ. Decide if you need a city starter package. Accommodation and transport is pre-booked and you'll get picked up and dropped off at your centrally located accommodation each day.
Are activities included?
Here at NZVentures we like to give our clients the choice. Not every person enjoy the same things so we've left the activity and attraction options up to you However to ensure you don't miss any must-see attractions we have included some unmissable sights and attractions along the way. Travelling with NZVentures allows you to get great discounts that you normally wouldn't get on some of New Zealand's leading activities and attractions.
Does my tour include the ferry?
All tours crossing between islands include the Interisland ferry. For more details, look in each individual itinerary.
Are transfers included?
All transfers to and from railway stations and ferry terminals during your tour are included. However, if your tour begins with a rail journey, then you will need to make your own way to the railway station.
Is food included?
Food is not included, however, the coach will stop at supermarkets and fresh food outlets along the way, and the accommodation is self catering where possible. There are also many diverse cafes and restaurants available at each overnight destination.
What is the accommodation like?
All accommodation is centrally located and based on twin share. All accommodation has private rooms with ensuite facilities, and is self catering where possible. Single Rooms are also available with all tours and offer private rooms with ensuite facilities and television (excluding accommodation at National Park, which does not include a television in the room).
Can I add extra nights?
Yes, any trip can be tailor made to include additional nights along the way, simply let us know when you book.
Where do I start my tour?
If your tour commences in Auckland, your journey will commence at our head office, 120 Albert Street. If your tour begins in Christchurch, then you will need to make your way to Base Backpackers, 56 Cathedral Square for your 8.00am pickup. Again, if your tour starts with a rail journey, you will need to make your own way to the railway station.
